You are late for the bus. It takes 15 minutes to walk from your house to the bus station. If you miss this interview, you will never be able to live it down! Your bicycle has a flat tire, your car is out of gas and there are no friends around to give you a ride. What are you going to do?!

Does this scenario sound familiar? Have you ever been in a situation where you wished that you could simply just teleport from one location to another? I think we all have. While teleportation is yet to be invented, there does exist many new forms of transport that allow for quick and easy transport, no matter the weather.

Electric Scooter

Electric scooters have taken the world by storm. Seen all over the US and Europe, these scooters nearly outnumber cars or bikes in some areas. These scooters can be privately owned or can be rented from a company. Firms such as Byrd and Lime offer scooters for rent and they can be found dotted around a city or town. All one needs is an application, a credit card and a phone. You can locate the nearest scooter through the app and to begin your ride all you need to do is tap your phone off of the scooter.

Electric Skateboard

Skateboards as a mode of transport used to be a form of serious exercise. The constant pushing of the board would mean that you would arrive to your destination covered in a layer of sweat. This is not ideal if you are going to work or perhaps going to a first date. Thankfully, there has been the invention of electric skateboards. Now all you need to do is simply stand on-board and allow the skateboard to do the work!

Engine-Powered Cycling Bikes

Similar to a skateboard, a cycling bike could have you arrive at your destination covered in sweat! This is especially true if you live in an area where there are many hills. Today there is a different option. You can obtain an engine for your bike, a sort of motor that does the job that the pedals should be doing. It keeps the chain in motion. These engines can either be electric or fuel powered. We recommend the electric motors.

So, there you have it. Three modern ways in which someone can get from A to B. From looking at this list it is clear that we are most certainly living in the future.
